I have a server mothebord S3420GP with 6 memory slots.
Now, I have 2 slots filled with these: 2x KINGSTON 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 ECC CL9 DIMM with Thermal Sensor.
Is possible to use another 4 these RAMs? So I would have 24 GB RAM with 6 x 4 GB. Is this combination possible?
Or is possible to use 4 x KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9 ECC Dual Rank BOX.
So total memory size will be 32 GB RAM.

I just built a new server with a S2600CP motherboard, Xeon E5 CPU and BXSTS100C Cooler. It's all up and running quite well, but the CPU fan is LOUD!. It's obviously running at full speed, as you can hear it step up during the boot process. The cooling fins are almost cold due to the high air flow, is there some way to lower the fans speed and ths reduce the noise coming from this thing?

I have an S1200BTL motherboard and an P4303xxsfcnna chassis. I've used Intel Deployment Assistant to update BIOS, BMC, FRU, etc. The chassis fans are still running at full speed. The BIOS only has an option to change to altitude, but the fan speed is set to auto and cannot be configured.
Any reason why the fans would be running full speed on both of my systems?

Два Сервера fujitsu, конфигурация серверов абсолютно одинаковая, на обоих установлено по две сетевые карты:
Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter (EXPI9301CTBLK) - локальная сеть
Intel Ethernet Connection I219-LM - интернет
На серверах установлен Window HyperV 2012R2.
На одном HyperV01 установлена виртуальная машина - сервер теминалов, на втором Hyperv02 установлена виртуальная машина - сервер БД. Пользователи работают с сервером БД через терминальный сервер, через сетевой адаптер Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter (EXPI9301CTBLK).
ПРОБЛЕМА: периодически отваливается сетевой адаптер, виртуальные машины становятся недоступны, помогает только перезагрузка сервера Fujitsu.

I am configuring an Intel Server System R1304RPSSFBN, I have already update the Bios and the Firmware 4 time with the latest version 03.03.0003 and the fans still spinning on full speed, any ideas what is the problem and if I can change the speed of the fan somehow??? Also the front panel has the green standby power LED lit and in the back panel is a green flashing LED.

We owned 2 brand new identical servers with Intel Server Motherboard S2600CW. One of which installed with the graphic card Asus GeForce GTX 960, and the other using the on-board vga. Both has been working well. Recently, we have some adjustments to the servers. We took out the graphic card and installed into the other server. The problem is that the graphic card could not be detected in the other motherboard.
We have tried to slot in into all the available slots but no prevailed. When we slotted back in to the original server, the motherboard detected it, which means the graphic card is not faulty at all.
We are unable to figure out the Bios setting. We cannot change the Add-in video adapter to enable. It is always grey out. We suspect the Bios setting, but we are unsure what to do. Please help.

We're experiencing strange problems with various Ubuntu versions on a S2600WTT server (using a Xeon E5-2660 v4):
Using the onboard graphics, the display is excessively slow, at a point it is barely usable.
Additionally, we're experiencing a slow memory throughput. Both problems might be linked. Updating the BIOS and playing with almost all settings there didn't change the problem.
Any clues on what might cause that?

I had created a operating software from bootable usb device but I am getting this error: "Initializing and Establishing Link" . I am using a SR1550AL server and I thing I should disable network from bios but couldnt find disable option any help about it?

We have 2 SR2500ALLRX servers, en added 2 lsi9211-8i sata controllers in pci-e slot.
We then connected 2 SFF-8087 cables (4x Sata each) to the mid-plane (passive pass throught non raid) but we dont see any disks in 9211-8i bios.
The hdd light in the front panel is staying green, and there is there are no hdd lights lighning/blinking.
Any suggestions?

After raid 1 configuration successfully by Intel ESRT* II on server board s2600cp with two brand new 500gb hdd it shows raid1 two hdd online .... thats ok, Then boot my pc with shipment cd called Intel development Assistant .. and select os installation for MS server 2003 but after 1st reboot it shows raid degraded instead of os installation then rebuild started.I already changed both hdd and configured again but same massage occurred. we use Mayan City CRB and GRNDCRB1.86B.0051.R02.1507300822_MAYAN_HCLK.bin firmware, downloaded from IBP.
The problems are:
1) Me could not load its firmare (We run spsInfo under UEFI and could see the following error code
"Image Failure - The Intel® ME firmware stored in the system flash is not valid" (error code 3), and current status
is "Disabled and faiting for timeout ). And, this board shutdown after 30 minutes.
Is this ME firmware correct for this board ?
2) LSPCI utility under Linux Ubuntu 14.04 does not show any device like ME (IME, HECI). Is this due to ME could
not load its firmware ?

I have a s5520hc mainboard in a sc5600BRP case.
My issue is that the chassis fans are usually and the psu fans always at 100% load and accordingly very loud (CPU fans not because i use passive coolers).
Im 99% sure that all fan connectors are in the right place for this chassis and this mainboard.
I have installed the newest firmware update with the settings given for this particular chassis and after that i set the the acoustic-settings to 'pls be quiet!'.
I tried to control the fans with 'fancontrol' and 'pwmconfig' on my linux install. There it says that there are no pwm-sensors.
The temperatur of the CPUs are always about 40 degrees.
What i wrote above hasnt solved the issue.
Has anyone an idea how to control the fans and is it at all possible to control the PSU fans?
By the way i have two Intel 750W DPS-750PB PSU's.

We just received a new Intel KNL system. It has 4 sleds in a single chassis. The interface ports we have with the system is, for each sled, (2) USB 3.0 ports and (2) NICs. I'm trying to get access to the system.
First thought was to get an adapter from USB -> VGA so we can open a console and set up the system. But, the system didn't have adapters installed to support this adapter.
Second thought was to use Intel's RMM4 (remote management module), so I booted up the system w/ the 2 NICs plugged in to one of the sleds. But, as far as I can tell, no new IPs are taken from the switch, the NICs do light up and flash to show activity however.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get a screen to open on this system?
